Ambrosia Kids is the title of a forthcoming book by Barbara Tomlin, one of many Baby Boomers who spent much of their childhood living in the uranium mining areas of the United States. Little did the parents of those children know how deadly their living environments would become as a result of uranium mining. Barbara is the daughter of a miner whose life was taken by cancer at the young age of 42 due to radon poisoning from the uranium mines. He worked in both Section 15 and Section 23 for the Homestake Mining operation in Ambrosia Lake.
